La Donna Carter ( Co-owner and Co-director of F.L.C.) is a graduate of Rutgers and Kean Universities. She is a wife and mother two girls ages 6 yrs and 18 months. She had served as a Clinical Therapist for 12 years and has 5 years managerial experience. She enjoys arts & crafts, singing, acting, and traveling with her family. Her greatest joy is developing new services at Fox that will improve and expand our school to continue a legacy of excellence in education. NAEYC Member

Shari Brown ( Co-owner and Co-director of F.L.C.) is a graduate of Rutgers University. Her career background includes counseling emotionally disturbed children ages 6-18 yrs over a period of 12 years and teaching Alcohol& Substance Abuse Prevention classes to teenagers in the Somerset County community. In her free time, she enjoys writing plays, watching comedies and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest enjoyment is interacting with the students at Fox in both group and individual activities and watching them develop intellectually throughout the school year.

Julie Steinmetz (Learning Lions/4-5yr olds) has been married for 11 yrs. and has a wonderful 4 yr. old daughter and a 5 yr. old dog. She is a graduate of Rowan Univ. (formerly Glassboro State) with an B.A. in Elementary Ed. and a minor in Psychology. She also has a certificate in nursery/kindergarten within the private schools. She enjoys teaching and cares about children's need for physical, social, academic and emotional growth. Hobbies are spending time with her family, singing, photography and traveling.

Denise Madelaine( Blossoming Butterflies/3 ½-4 yr olds) is a wife of 28 years and mother of three. She has been an integral part of the development of FLC as a Pre-K teacher for 17 years. Her creativity and structure in the classroom make her students eager to learn. She enjoys exercising outdoors as well as in the gym.

Nora Isabel Wilkins (Clever Cubs 2 ½ -3 yr olds) attended Burlington County College where she studied music, piano pedagogy and Theory. She joined the staff at FLC four years ago as a music instructor, and in September 2006 she graciously began teaching the youngest students. Her teaching style is a flexible, responsive approach that engages children's needs of social, emotional, language and cognitive development in a structured, balanced and integrated way.

Karen Schaaff(Teacher Ast.) has been married for 25 yrs. She has one daughter that is a freshman in college and a dog name Raven. She was fortunate enough to be a stay home mom and spend extra time in her child's elem. school where she was the PTA Vice-president .She is nurturing, caring & helpful in the academic growth and development of children at Fox. Her hobbies include decorating and gardening. She enjoys organizing anything that comes her way.

Victoria Eveland (Teacher) is a happily married mother of two boys and a former Fox parent. She holds a B.S. degree from Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. She truly enjoys education and has taught at schools in Burlington and Camden counties. She has also instructed adults in Computer Science. She is creative, well organized and nurturing. Victoria enjoys working on her home, reading a good book, gardening and interior design.

Roberta Pray (Teacher Ast.) is a wife and mother of two adult children and one miniature poodle named Taffy. She has been in the FLC family for four years. Her primary responsibilities involve helping children in the Learning Center with reading, writing and math skills. She has a warm friendly personality a great sense of humor. She enjoys baking, painting, and participating in various church activities.

Pat D'Eustachio (Lunch Aide/ Teacher Ast.) is a mother of five adult children and grandmother of 13. She has been a member of Fox's family for six years. Besides being extremely organized and proficient in preparing and serving the student lunches, she brings a warm smile and a nurturing touch to everyone she meets. Her hobbies are knitting & crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Megan Rodrigues (Teacher Assistant) is currently a student studying child development and early childhood. She resides with her parents and brother and loves babysitting and spending time with her family. She has been at Fox for over 8 months and has enjoyed every moment. She loves working with the children and shows great dedication to her job. She considers her coworkers as extended family. Megan's career goal is to become an elementary school teacher.

Fran Caccase (Teacher Assistant) Has been married 31 years and has 3 children, two grandchildren and twins on the way! She says she loves being around children, "They keep me on my toes..." Hobbies include trips to the shore, reading and dancing.

Lauren Gibbs (Teacher Assistant) is a student currently involved with the Women's Studies Club and serves as Vice President of the International Cultures Club. She loves working with the children at Fox Learning Center and has been a valuable asset in the summer program. She is about continuing her work at FLC this fall. In her spare time she enjoys good books as well as spending time with friends and family.

Shelby has been a local dance teacher in the area for the past 20 years. She is the current owner and director of Dansations School in Hainesport. Shelby is also a personal trainer and group fitness instructor who runs dance/fitness programs for many daycares and youth programs. Shelby has been a part of the Fox Learning Center family for three years now and has choreographed the dance routines for the children's End of the Year Show every year.

Elaine Frost (Private Tutor) is a former public school head teacher (grades 3 and 5) who decided to become a stay at home mom and raise her own two children. She joined Fox Learning Center staff more than 18yrs. ago, as a half day kindergarten teacher, while her own children were in school. When her children graduated, she became full time in the kindergarten classroom. Her love for teaching and children is matched only by her love for animals! She is a musician and artist who shares her creative talents to the classroom everyday. She writes and directs the F.L.C. end of the year musicals and hopes to author and illustrate a children's book in the near future. She states, “It's amazing what children can accomplish if only challenged. Being around and working with kids is the best job in the world!”
